Crash reports
« on: January 21, 2012, 11:04:27 am »
Can anybody tell me what I'm looking for in crash reports generated for a theme I made?  To me they seem useless, just tells me what else is installed. Am I missing something?

Are you talking about the files that are included when a user emails you from Cydia? Those aren't crash logs, they're apt logs and, like you said, you're only going to get info about what's installed.

So is the purpose of "apt logs" to allow developers to spot patterns in what may be causing conflicts? Or is there a whole other level to them? If it is very complicated I'm gonna state up front that it'll go over my head so I don't want you to put too much effort into your response. Just a "yeah basically" or "you're a moron" will be fine. Thank you.
