I figured it out, the version of curl on ininjas break php, because of an incompatibility with libssh2

I moved iNinjas version of curl to the beta repo, until this is all worked out.

uninstall libhssh, and then reinstall.  Don't just reinstall.

Ok I think I know what is wrong.  It is libssh2 that is broken.  I compiled Curl with libssh2 so it needs that to work.  Let me look at the files in libssh2

fixed it, it was broken symlink. I recompiled medusa again thats how I know libssh2 is fine now.  It wouldnt have compiled with ssh support,  if libssh2 was broken.
