Is it really illegal to just nmap an ip or ping it? It seems a little....extreme.
Ping? No. Nmap? Yes. That just advertises "I'm thinking about hacking you!" to anybody with half a brain. It's illegal to perform an intrusive scan.

Like the U.S. government would actually give you a trial. They'd accuse you of being a spy if you stepped onto something top secret and torture you or lock you up forever without any outside contact. :P

Just realized he did what I thought someone would do earlier he used TOR's hammer and slow loris on the open ports so he most likely won't be here in a long time
