I think the gov uses proxies or vpn's to hide the actual data

As scanning networks usually involves permission, unless being done for unusual reasons, I imagine that scanning the IPs used by Gov (obviously without permission) kinda looks bad. Anyway, there is no certain outcome, but I don't see any point in poking these addys with a stick. It's one of those things where caution can pay off IMHO.

Afraid so, there were a ton of bots and spam on the wiki, it was more effort than it was worth to salvage it.

Ok i got new news , i did a trace route on most of the ip's they all are blocked by an american ip wich isn't normale for some-one living in south africa so i think the us gov is blocking these
