Oldies Radio
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:19:57 am »
I have developed an app of my web ( www.radioldies.com ) . The web is a music radio with music from the second part of de 20th century ( The Beatles, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Iron Maiden, and much more).

I know that is nothing about hacking but i have worked hard on it.

I think its compatible with iOS 3.0+ but don't sure with iOS 5. I have submitted it to Modmyi's repo or you can download the .deb directly from here.

The direct download is a newer version than the Modmyi's. Hope you like it.

It is only in Spanish but it is no difficult to understand:
Inicio="Home"
Contactar= Contact
Foro=Forum (the comments just in spanish )
Biblioteca= Library
Articulos = Articles ( just in spanish)
Emitiendo = Broadcasting

Tell me any suggestions or bugs plss.
Thank you for your attention.

Im using html5 audio tag <audio>

Since we are not winning any money we dont have to pay any copyright of the songs. So is totally legal.

Are the songs out of copyright? I don't know why it would be rejected.

Would it be free? If you made money from it I'm pretty sure it'd be illegal, but idk anything about copyrights.

But the issue is selling a product that uses copyrighted material. If the app were free it should be fine (as I see it), but if app is sold then there is an issue. You are making a profit off of protected material. Even though tge songs are played for free, you made a profit off of app relying on the music. Thats the problem i believe d3nn is mentioning.
