You cannot arp spoof someone who is not connected to your AP. period. If they aren't on your network just forget about it.

nice a12. Any programs you recommend on backtrack 5 ? my parent has a friend who is a ethical hacker been doing it for 20+.

"Ethical Hacking" has not been around for 20+ years, at least it was not called that back then. They were called "white-hats" from the mid 1990s on. Before that they were referred to as "true hackers", as the media had latched onto the word "hacker" as a malicious user, incorrectly, instead of the word "cracker". We wanted a way to differentiate ourselves from the jerks. If he has been hacking 20+ years, chances are I know him or know of him :)

pretty much i am on twitch.tv which is live streaming videos. how can i log so i can see people's ip addresses. and is netstat -an command does that show ip address of people or the server?

Sniff the server. It will show packets to and from. The headers of those packets will have the IPs of those connected to server
If I help you or you appreciate my work, clicking that +1 button is the best thanks I could get.

My opinions are my own, you may agree or disagree with them, but they are only just that; opinions
For example: facebook is the microsoft of social networks
