I saw that a few months ago of Twitter and yeah it looks VERY cool.

Though unlike the Kenectic which monitors our whole body this monitors hand movement in a small box in front of it (but much more accurately).

Is it legitimate? It seems a bit far fetched.

It looks fairly legit. Haven't seen it on the computer though. Only on iPhone.

<%a12danrulz> Idk, but doing a DoS from an apple device is like fighting a bear with a plastic spork

Should I pre-order one? I mean, what are the real benefits from using one?

Well in my opinion there really aren't any obvious "benefits" except that it gets rid of your mouse for certain applications and makes your arms tired. I did think that it was pretty cool though, just don't know if pinch-to-zoom and air scrolling is worth $70.00.
If I assist you please consider giving me a +1.

You wouldn't. That's why I said it would only get rid of your mouse for certain applications. So IMO, it's cool. But not worth $70 to me.

This is a step nearer to the "Minority Report" concept. Anyway, before anything like that is possible, there will be the need of an implementation deep into the OS. Hoping someone pick it up as an extension, anyway.
