Is BT for skiddies?
« on: August 10, 2012, 12:07:33 am »
So I've been messing around with backtrack 5 r2 lately and was wondering if if that qualifies for the label of script kiddie.

Thats like a mechanic saying that a wrench is for idiots. Backtrack has all thebest tools and development langs wrapoed up in a nice little present. Its like cristmas for hackers and developers. That does *not* qualify someone as a script kiddie. Why do people think doing things the easy way makes them a skiddie?

Script kiddies are people who don't want to learn about hacking and how it does the things it does. A hacker learns about these things so he can:
1. Understand what is being done
2. Learn how to make his/her own programs or scripts for his/her benefit and other peoples benefit to.
People have said why re-invent the wheel when it's already been made.

LOL So you can milk your product before people realize how simply they can make and customize it themselves, of course!

I always say that you shouldn't reinvent the wheel. Tools were made to be used, so use them. Almost all the major tools were made by professionals for professionals. I'd rather use the tools of the trade written by experts than using half-assed tools I made to try to act like I'm 1337 h4x0r. I believe in form follows function, and those tools work.

If you're a mechanic, why make your own wrenches?

If you're a mechanic, why make your own wrenches?

Instead of make, modify.

modify your tools to suit you better.....
or at least that's what my mechanic neighbor says
