To update on this I'm still working on my free time but it's really hard to patch without the devices. Users that send me your firmwares be patient please.

 ;) Hi everyone! I have recently bought an iphone 3g I found this great post and want to know if someone has the wifi patch i have the custom ios 4.2.1 but i cant find the wifi firmware on the place where andres said! /usr/share/firmware/  there is just the multitouch firmware, so if someone can help me..

Althouhg ive found a video that describes how to put it on promisc mode, it really works but cant find a way to use that.. if you want to know more about it, just tell me i send you the link

Only if you have a supported device and firmware listed on their page. @4m4r0k, they don't have iPhone 3G 4.2.1 patched drivers

I checked the page and the README and it said only ipad 1 and iphone was supported or something like that. Have added more devices? I am running ipod 4g ios 5.1.1

Well an iPod is not an iPad is it? Unless they use the exact same drivers you are SOL

mmm ok :( it is really sad, well i dont know if a can put links here but here is which i told before [REMOVED]


so just put the repo listed there, and install network-cmds if u already have installed just update it, it works for me, but i dont really know if it is usefull

This is "Monitor mode" that link is for "promiscuous mode", so its off-topic.

I edited that link out until someone can look into it. I personally would not trust any repo that is a subdomain of altervista.org

Not sure what their network-cmds has that is missing from the real version

on the project link it seems that supoort many android devices how we can check the chipset of the wireless card on a phone? i try google many sites with my iphone but found anything
