python IDE
« on: September 25, 2012, 02:05:00 am »
I downloaded a few of your free PDFs about python from here yesterday. What is a good, free compiler and IDE for Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04?

For windows go to python.org they will have all you need there. For Ubuntu, I'm using Ninja IDE. But I also have Idle. It's a simple no nonsense IDE.

Pretty much everything. It's a very commonly used programming language, and can code IRC bots, DDoSers, calculators, normal programs...... The easiness to add new function gives python the ability to code pretty much anything. Except for operating systems. Operating systems are usually written in Assembly.
