Ok so here's the deal, love the community here these tools on an iPod "wow" is all I can say. I'm a big backtrack fan and a heavy user of ettercap, I installed ettercap only to run into the same error as the first poster so I followed the directions as to download ldid or ldone from cydia.hackulos.us so as to fix the minor error only to Learn that hackulos repo died only days ago lol. So my question is what's another repo I can obtain ldid or idone from?

try command
apt-get install ldid
in terminal

Also, if that doesn't work (it probably will) then add this guy's repo and install the ldone package.

So the terminal install of ldid was a success, question now is where is the ettercap tar stored by default?

To find the ettercap tar do I type

which tar ettercap

When I do so the output is:

/usr/local/bin/ettercap

So I then tried this:

ldid -S /usr/local/bin/ettercap

When I did this there was no output so thought ok it worked I tried ettercap and same error.

Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libnet.1.dylib

Bumping, IOS 6.1 jailbroken on iPad 4, install ettercap with gtk, get a bunch of packages, get iPwN, install ettercap NO gtk, and get this:

Pauls-iPad:~ root# ettercap
Illegal instruction: 4

Reinstall with GTK, get this:

Pauls-iPad:~ root# ettercap
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libexpat.1.dylib
  Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/ettercap
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5

any clues?
