N900 from why I've seen and read. The list of features outways all the other phone nearly 20-1. The only problem is that they can be a b**** to get hold of one in a good condition, as you can only get them second hand

N900 definitely. Especially since you are going to use this only for hacking (Monitor mode, etc). But yeah, they can be pretty hard to get sometimes. But here is a "BIN" eBay ad, and they have 2 of them "New" available for about $250. And they are from the US. (No guarantee there though)

I just got a brand new one from amazon.  It was $400 though.  My last one was refurbished and worked fine.  Still works except the USB is broken which is partley my fault.

Have you got backtrack on it ?

I put backtrack on it for a while but never used it.  I cant think of anything I would use that isn't already in maemo repositories or debian, and there isn't near as much stuff in the backtrack arm repositories as there is in easy-debian.   For WEP/WPA crack I would just install

1. Power kernel
2. bleeding edge wireless drivers
3. aircrack

Then find wifite.py on the web somewhere and fire that up.  Its the easiest thing in the world to use for cracking.

You can install w3af too with easy-debian and run it like it was running natively on the device.

Still fun to show backtrack GUI running on your phone to friends.

Wait, do you think it is possible to get w3af running on idevices? Even if it's console mode it would be awesome.

Do not make spam posts like "...." because someone made some off-topic, off-site, or uneducated comment.
That just makes their comment worse

Any you, let's keep your posts on-topic, and on-site. If you feel comfortable doing business on a shady marketplace like that, fine, but do not risk others' safety or money by sending them to shady places.

Do not bump old topics, only to add some information that was already given in the thread, last year. I am referring to the ip address location thread.

Try to make useful posts

Frustration is understandable.

Instead of making post like that when someone makes a garbage post, just bring it to the attention of a global moderator, send a PM to them. They will take care of clean-up
