Upload systems... Vulnerable?

I came across our really old 23 page discussion on when hotfries was hacked by some script kiddie from hack forums... I visited there website and found an upload button :) :) he he! We could create a meterpreter php file with metasploit and enjoy the fun... Just a thought. If anyone had a grudge and wanted to get back that would be the way.
Btw, I am not saying we should go metasploit them or anything... Just pointing out a major vulnerability in their kiddie website!

What a12 said, and if your suggesstion trying to hack one of the largest hacking forums you can have fun by yourself and don't tell them you came from here.

I was pointing out a vulnerability... That's it. I wasn't trying to say we should and I was also not saying I was going to. Sorry if I mislead anyone.

I'm sure that they have some sort of protection from that. Hack Forums is one of the biggest hacking forums around, so it probably isn't that easy to hack it. Nice observation though! PS, I'm pretty sure A12 and Ape misunderstood you. It seems to me that you just meant to point out a vulnerability in a website, nothing more.

Thanks, even now when I read back through my post I see how easy it is to missunderstand my post. I know we Wouldn't attack any website for the hell of it. And I know we don't want some hacking war... Even though that would be pretty awesome.

Then maybe you should pm the owner or a moderator and tell ten about the vulnerability you found.

Setup a proxy like tor or go to hidemyass.com and get a proxy ip and port and route all your trafic through that.
