Linksys dd wrt

Im in the process of trying to flash my routers firmware
I followed the instruction. But I can't get past the first set
which is too upgrade the firmware after a hard reset. I always
recieve an error.

If you are not having problems with router, just upgrading firmware, you do not need to do a hard (factory) reset. Just upgrade it.

The hard reset is the button on the device, there should be no "error" showing

I think I have found the problem, I was downloading the firmware through safari iPhone and I noticed that my downloads weren't 100 complete. The original files are 1.68 MB  it finishes at 1.7 MB.
