I can tell you without a link. If its from China, or Hong Kong, it is a knock-off.

That isn't really fair. I was in Asia a lil while ago and sure they have copies everywhere (their laws do not recognize copyright). So intelectual property is considered a shared area (they aren't being dishonest because that is the concept they are raised to accept).
But I visited MANY electronic/digital superstores and when they sell a product, the first thing they ask is "do you want copy or original". They never tried to sell a knockoff as the real thing. So when it comes to buying online, there is corruption everywhere (considering a product dodgy because it comes from Asia) is shortsighted. Any person in my (or your) country could easily sell you a product under the guise of it being local but have the order directed to anywhere else.
I just felt that it was worth mentioning.

Well, I'm not trying to judge them, I just see a bunch of them on ebay that say that they are from hong-kong, which are suspiciously low priced, and the people have terrible reviews as sellers.

Well then the buyer is a dodgy person who is prob trying to sell a copy as though it's an original, or too daft to have listened/observed what the original sales person was selling. I know ya wouldn't insult/judge them, but this topic just made me think of a load of misrepresentation that Asia gets. So I wanted to just mention the point. Anyone can get anything from anywhere and claim a backstory on ebay. The last person to have been corrupt in the history of the item is probably the original seller lol
