N900 battery drain
« on: November 30, 2012, 02:25:31 am »
i have pwniexpress and power kernel flashed on my n900..i have this weird battery drain where it only lasts about 3-5 hours at the most. so ive resorted to using an external charger swapping 2 batteries. i think its a software issue as ive reverted back to stock and saw improvements. should i try an extended battery?

Do u have packet injection on? If so that drains it pretty quick

Packet injection shouldn't drain any battery at all. Its just a loaded set of drivers. Its not any different from having your normal drivers loaded aside from the face they can send packets while unassociated with an AP

  • If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Unfortunately I think that's just how the n900's are. Even booted into the stock OS, mine only lasts about a day at most.
