installous has alternatives before its down
it's not installous problem guys it's the problem of idea ( piracy )
my opinion apple helps on piracy not like android is making everything easy to pay for apps even with money on your cellular sim card that means you can pay with your local currency unlike apple store it requires visa with $ I will give you small example
modern combat 4 on android costs  5 EGP in my currency with easy payment which don't require visa nor PayPal
modern combat 4 on app store costs 7$ which is  35 EGP in my currency with restricted payment method visa
apple isn't making it easy to buy apps
the only way for me to buy apps is gift cards I get from freemyapps
I don't support piracy . I am against apple's idea

Makes sense why you requested a random chat board on the forum
You need to give IRC an honest shot, which you have not.
Try setting up a znc bouncer for yourself.
If you use Colloquy I guess you can background the App and as long as you check in at least once every 10 minute it wont time out.(Ape has been talking with colloquy dev, no way around that 10 minute timeout, its something Apple does)

I don't mind IRC from Desktop/Laptop, the thing is I use MyWi for my connection and I cant stay connected for long periods. Eventually I'll setup a boncer for my PC. I've tried colloquy, but regardless of ZNC I simply don't like the layout/interface or whatever the term to use coupled with the small screen of an iPhone. Maybe I'll try a different client.
