MAC Spoof help
« on: January 01, 2013, 10:03:36 am »
so my dad went off on a rant the other day and decided to block my internet. I found out he was using a whitelist. so i quickly spoofed my laptop to one of those mac addresses. My ipod on the other hand is still blocked. i found out you could spoof on 5.1.1 now with iAPfree 3.1.1 but I cant seem to set the MAC address myself and can only randomize it, itd take a while to clone one of the mac addresses on the whitelist with a random function. any ways around this?

"nvram wifiaddr=Be:tt:er:Us:eH:ex" then reboot.
"nvram -d wifiaddr" then reboot to reset it.

I've done this twice with no issues, but be warned, many users on iOS 5.x.x have ended up needing to restore their device after using the nvram method. Good luck!

Frozen or do your apps open for a second and then crash? You may have to reboot until everything works again.

Actually, you should try a hard reset. Hold the sleep and home button for 15 seconds until' you see the Apple logo.

Not unless you do a full restore on your computer. But on Mac's, I know that nvram will not be restored by re-installing OSX.

I think zapping the pram will reset the nvram on a mac. I never investigated thought.

So, considering I have a stuck lock button. Is there a way to stop the crashing of apps?
