Firesheep for ANDROiD
« on: January 26, 2013, 05:37:21 am »
FaceNiff is pretty awesome. I used to have it on my old My Tab and sniffed out my mums facebook account. Haha. Except you can't use it on a network using AES protection. Read more and download on the website http://faceniff.ponury.net/

Happy hacking. :)

Yeah, I know about them. But I've only ever used FaceNiff. So I thought I should put up what I've used

I think that droidsheep Guard protects you from being 'attacked' by apps like facesniff and Droidsheep.
You can install droidsheep guard from the play store, but you need to find droidsheep (the attack app, it's different than droidsheep guard) on the internet, it's not available on the play store.

Also an app that i could recommend for android devices is Network Spoofer. It's realy fun to play with.
More info at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/netspoof/

Yea I got that from the description in the app before I downloaded it ;)

Just rooted my phone last night was so easy,  did it on linux with this tool mentioned here

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460

Now I have just about all the tools mentioned by the HaxDroid project.    Instead of facesniff and droidsheep Id rather just write my own scripts to use with sslstrip.   Still pretty new to Android though
