Indeed, lol. Fortunately, it only accesses contacts and photos. But that's still too much, apple has dropped the ball yet again.

I was referring to most of the new things that are wrong with iOS 6 aswell I'm sure even the CEO must of had something to do with the low amounts of testing? If not then don't worry, I'm not the best in business things. Just an observation that since he passed apple have been going downhill with a lot of flaws

Saying "Just contacts" would be like if there were a flaw in facebook that allowed anyone to go through your friends list and you said "They can just get the personal info for everybody that I know, no big deal"

I'm saying that because it's not like he could go in his chase banking app and transfer himself all his cash. I'm also not saying that being able to access the contacts isn't bad. It is, I just think it's not as bad as having full access to the phone.

I wonder if itd be possible to crash the contacts app while youre in it and see if it would launch you to the springboard o.O

There are other implications to this. If at the point you are viewing the contacts the phone consideres itself unlocked, it would be possible to jailbreak. If you stole someone's phone and they have a password, if something like this can allow the phone to be jailbroken, then they have total access to your phone instead of having to restore.
