... hopefully will be able to run it with the nessus app from app strore which initially required nessusd to be running on a PC, a two man team.  Now everything can be done on an iDevice...
Not to rain on your parade, but the app requires nessus 4 or above, while the latest open source nessus version is 2.x.

whats encrypted?  I stopped trying.  Nikto is the best anyways.

Nevermind, but can you tell me what I need to learn how to port a just in general a program like Nessus to the iPod/iPhone I really want to learn it but I just can't find any good guides.

You have to setup a compiler on your device first.  If you get fake-libgcc from insanelyi repo, that will set it up for you.
