Give credit where credit is due
« on: August 13, 2011, 10:38:36 am »
This should go with out stating, but I feel the need to say it anyways.

If you port anything give the name of the original author when you announce it, otherwise some view it as stealing because you are trying to get credit for something that you didn't write.  If you notice, all of the true 1337 h4x0r tools (SET, Metasploit, etc.) give credit to everyone who contributed to the code base.  At the very minimum say "This is a port of <author's name> <tool name> by <your username> to iPhone," otherwise it just looks fishy.  Thanks for all of the hard work porting everything, and keep the ports flowing! I am always excited to see a new thread join this section.

Thanks!
